A.O. Smith Triasoft Mini is different than a standard softener system as it includes a special filter media that filters dirt and sediment down to 20 microns. In addition to sediment filter and softener, the system serves as an iron filter, removing up to 3 ppm of ferrous iron from your water supply. This system offer high levels of lime removal with minimal salt and water consumption. As a result, the calcification problems that occur in pipe fittings, washing, heating and boiling systems within your homes are eliminated. You obtain high levels of energyconsumption and efficiency.
Valve Specifications:
Bypass Valve
Bypass Valve enables you to remove the appliance from service when necessary. By simply turning the dial to “Bypass”, water will not enter the appliance.
System Controller Valve
System Controller Valve operates in three languages and retains cycle settings indefinitely, even through power outages. The time of day setting remains in memory for up to seven days without power.
Built-in Self Cleaning Filter
Filters dirt and sediment down to 20 microns – smaller than the human eye can see. Built-in Filter does not need any cartridges to change and no maintenance is required.

Dual Compartment Media Tank and Fine Mesh Resin
Patented mineral tank is composed of fiberglass and polypropylene high composite material and with its screened distributor system allows us to pack more resin in the tank and backwash the unit with clean soft water, therefore eliminating the need for a second mineral tank.
Grid Plate
The grid plate in the segregated brine tank compartment provides a clear well area to ensure consistent brine concentration.
Flow Screen
